2025 Tāmaki Makaurau by-election Voting statistics

Voting statistics will be updated each day from Tuesday 26 August until election day, Saturday 6 September. This information is preliminary and may be subject to change.

The graphs and tables below compare the number of votes taken before election day in the 2025 Tāmaki Makaurau by-election with votes taken before election day on the equivalent days in the 2023 Port Waikato by-election. Note there are fewer people enrolled in this electorate and the number of people voting may be lower. Approximately 52,000 people were enrolled for the Port Waikato by-election, and so far about 44,000 are enrolled in Tāmaki Makaurau.
